DOG

 I am quite sure he thinks that I am God. Since he is God, on whom each one depends, For life and all that his bounty bestows. My dear old dog, the most constant of all friends; Not quick to mind, but far quicker than
To God, who knows and owns him: his eye deep brown and liquid, watches for my nod; He is more patient underneath the rod. When God sends His wise corrections, I am more than happy. He looks deep love at me as words e'er spake:
And neither crumb nor sup will be taken from me. But he expresses his gratitude with his most vocal tail: And when some crashing noise awakens all his fear,
He is content and quiet if I am near. secure that my protection will prevail.
So, faithful, mindful, thankful, and trustful, he Tell me what the will of God should be.
